Who we are

Caz Legal AI is operated by Caz Brain Pvt Ltd and supported by Caz Brain Limited, UK. Caz Legal AI provides a legal AI operating system for lawyers, law firms, legal teams, law colleges and authorised clients.

Information we collect

We may collect account details, workspace details, firm information, user role, authentication information, client records, matter information, hearing details, billing records, uploaded documents, AI prompts, generated outputs and cloud integration metadata needed to provide the service.

Legal documents and confidential data

Legal documents, pleadings, notices, contracts, court records, invoices, hearing notes and matter files uploaded into Caz Legal AI are treated as confidential workspace data. We process them only to provide authorised product functions such as storage, preview, AI ingest, search, drafting, export and matter workflow support.

How we use information

We use information to operate user accounts, secure sessions, manage matters, process documents, provide AI-assisted legal workflows, generate PDF/Word files, manage billing, support hearings, enable client portal access and maintain platform security.

AI processing

Caz Legal AI may process uploaded documents and user instructions through AI systems to provide summaries, drafting assistance, review tables, legal research support, chronology, risk notes and other productivity outputs. AI outputs should be reviewed by a qualified legal professional before use.

Google Drive data usage

If a user connects Google Drive, Caz Legal AI may save generated PDF or Word files to the connected Drive account when selected by the user. If a user imports a Drive file into a matter, the selected file may be copied into Matter Documents and processed through the document ingest workflow.

Security measures

We use access controls, secure sessions, role-based permissions, protected routes, encrypted token handling where configured, matter-level controls and server-side checks to protect workspace data. Users must protect passwords, OTPs, secure links and matter access tokens.

Data sharing

We may share data with trusted infrastructure, storage, authentication, payment, AI, cloud and support providers only as necessary to operate the service. We do not sell personal data, legal documents or client data to advertisers.

Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, preserve billing records and support business operations. Deletion may be subject to legal, audit, backup and compliance requirements.

Your choices

Users may request access, correction, deletion, export, restriction or disconnection of certain data, subject to verification and applicable law. Google Drive can be disconnected from the integrations area of the application.

Caz Brain Pvt Ltd and Caz Brain Limited, UK may support operations, development, hosting, support and administration across jurisdictions with appropriate technical and organisational safeguards.
